Generation regimes of FEL with volume distributed feedback
This paper discusses different generation regimes of Volume Free Electron Lasers (VFELs) which utilize Volume distributed feedback (VDFB). Dependence of VFEL operation on VDFB parameters is studied.
Numerical Simulation of Nonlinear Errects in Volume Free Electron Laser (VFEL)
In this paper a mathematical model of Volume Free Electron Lasers (VFEL) is described. It proved itself be effective in simulation of different schemes of VFEL. Numerical results obtained confirm all originated in VFEL physical laws.
Experimental Study of a Volume Free Electron Laser with a "Grid" Resonator
V.G. Baryshevsky, N.A.Belous, A.A.Gurinovich, A.S.Lobko, P.V.Molchanov, V.I.Stolyarsky
Operation of Volume Free Electron Laser with a ”grid” photonic crystal, built from periodically strained metallic threads, was studied in the backward wave regime. Generation threshold was observed for different ”grid” photonic crystals. Dependence of the...
Electrodynamical properties of a Volume Free Electron Laser with a "Grid" Resonator
V.G. Baryshevsky, A.A.Gurinovich
The electrodynamic properties and lasing in Volume Free Electron Laser with a ”grid” resonator (”grid” photonic crystal) with changing in space parameters are considered. The equations describing lasing of VFEL with such a resonator are obtained. It is sh...
Coherent Bremsstrahlung and Parametric X-ray Radiation from Nonrelativistic Electrons in a Crystal
V. G. Baryshevsky, K. G. Batrakov, I. D. Feranchuk, A. O. Grubich, A. A. Gurinovich, A. S. Lobko, A. A. Rouba, P. F. Safronov, V. I. Stolyarsky, B. A. Tarnopolsky, and A. P. Ulyanenkov
X-ray radiation generated by nonrelativistic electrons interacting with a crystal target exhibits several distinctive features in comparison to the relativistic case. The difference is related to the interference of the parametric X-ray radiation and cohe...
